What past visitors have said about Jiangsu

Here are my comments on the particulars of the trip:
The meals that were arranged were a cross section of the various cuisines of China and were varied, delicious and well prepared. The amount of dishes was more than we could eat at most meals.

All the guides were all very good, prompt, courteous and pleasant.
1.) They were all conscientious and their service was very good.
2.) Their command of English was excellent. The communications were very good. We were all impressed with their language skills.

Lily, the tour guide in Suzhou was very good, she was ill with a cold, but did not neglect her duties in any way. She took very good care of our group. Knowledge of history and culture of China was excellent in all the guides. They have all studied and learned their lesson well.

Cars and Drivers: All very good, the cars were clean and well maintained. The drivers were all very helpful and pleasant. They stayed with the cars and protected any personal items that we left in the cars.

Thank you very much!
Sincerely yours,

If you decide to go to Suzhou for a visit make sure you stop by the Master of the Nets garden. It is the smallest garden in Suzhou, but is most well known because of its beauty. It was built in the 12th century, then abandoned until it was restored in the 18th century. This garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in all of Suzhou. You can walk through the old house and admire the beautiful architecture and magnificent woodwork. Take a few moments to sit and just enjoy the beautiful garden with its strange and wonderful trees and plants. This can be a very relaxing place to escape to after all the hustle and bustle of the city.

We arrived in Wuxi from Nanjing at lunch time. Across the road, there is a tourist bank which was still opened on a public holiday. Wuxi means no tin in Chinese. The main location for a popular TV series 'The Romance of the Three Kingdoms' was shot at the Three Kingdom City Theme- Park. It snowed and the white snow was making the Park more romantic. We took a boat ride on an ancient-looking battle ship across the Tai Hu Lake. The Lake is well known for its production of quality pearl. We shopped at a tourist pearl center. We also toured around the Lingshan Buddha Park and shopped at the Wuxi Purple Sand Teapot factory.
