Studying in Jiangsu

Since 1999, Jiangsu’s universities underwent a major adjustment. According to the educational policy reform of the central government, many small high-educational institutions were combined into comprehensive universities.

International cooperation and exchange programs have been well established in Jiangsu during recent years. International students in the universities and colleges have originated from 100 countries or regions. In addition, a large number of academicians have been sent abroad to conduct research and receive further training. In recent decades, more academic staff and language teachers from Europe or North America were recruited by the universities and colleges to teach different courses including English, French, Spanish, and Japanese.
